To put it briefly, my key strengths include communication skills especially in English language and ability to convey my message effectively. Drafting skills is also a plus point. Gel well with people around me as I staunchly believe in teamwork and forging partnerships as a way to find creative solutions to even knotty problems and am inclined towards learning and development wherever I find opportunity and view diversity as strength. Currently working as Finance Director in my own business named Somo Corporation Private Limited, Master Distributor of Olpers Dairy Products. Have been working there since 2 years i.e. since March 22, 2019.
Previously I had worked at Yaraan Corporation since September 2018 till March 2019 as Key Product Officer (KPO) of Nestle Pakistan products. Yaraan Corporation Private Limited is Master Distributor of several multi-national companies, including Nestle Pakistan products.
Prior to working at Yaraan Corporation, I used to work in Banking sector for 2 years and 8 month, before resigning on 31 August 2018. To put it precise, I have work experience as Credit Officer (Branch) which have enabled me to understand nuts and bolts of Credit Operations and also indulgence in other converging task (with other departments) such as drafting Offer Letters and filling charge documentations (CAD) and also working with them Applying for trade facility disbursements (DP) (Trade Department) and performing Inward Clearing Cheques (Operations) have provided me interdepartmental exposure. Would prefer corporate banking, credit risk analyst position or CAD.
Would like to work in Bank Alfalah due to its growth and the opportunity it serves to the employees along with benefits etc. Furthermore, brand equity, reputation and positive reviews by my peers currently working there augments/consolidates the positive image of the bank in my perspective.
Previously, before joining banking sector, I had completed my BBA(H) from IoBM (CBM) and completed my high school (both A- and O-Levels) from the City School PAF Chapter. While doing my BBA(H) I got interested in Finance subjects and done majors in Finance and minors in Marketing. Finance subjects include Portfolio Management, Investment Banking Securities Analysis and Corporate Finance as electives apart from Core and Foundation Courses. I was also involved in projects related to Finance including giving presentations on Pakistan Budget 2014-15, Financial Modelling and presentations based on Annual Reports of the public-limited companies (Lucky Cement) (Portfolio Management), Also participated in university wide competition of stock exchange in virtual world and learnt applied stock exchange practices (Investment Banking Securities Analysis Project) and submitted report and presentation on Phillips Company..

Working as Finance Director at Somo Corporation Private Limited since my joining on 22 March 2019 and am continuing to still work there. Somo Corporation Private Limited is Master Distributor of Friesland Campina Engro Foods Dairy Products. Since its inception in 2013, it had continued to gain momentum as one of the leading companies in Gilgit District with turnover of half billion rupees annually.
As Finance Director, I was responsible for preparing journal entries and financial statements, budget preparation, determining optimal capital structure for my company, determining investment portfolio for any idle cash and also am responsible for receivables recovery and monitoring staff loans and other loans. Had also designed loan forms for my company..Also responsible for establishing internal controls, ensuring proper company filings with SECP, submission of documents for account opening in various banks and designed and manage salary mechanism for employees.
